          Required Students

Students who do not meet the Qualified Admission criteria established by the Kansas Board of Regents may be required to participate in Academic Coaching as a condition of admission. This requirement is specified on the letter of admission sent to students.

If you have questions regarding this admission condition or your admission assessment, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 785-532-6250.

          Program Expectations

Academic Coaching supports students as they transition to university-level academics. Each student will be assigned to an Academic Coach who will meet regularly with the student to set goals, develop academic success skills, and build motivation.

Students with required Academic Coaching must sign a learning agreement which outlines student expectations. Depending on their interests, individual needs, and class availability, most students will take a Student Success Course through K-State First to complete their schedule.

          Program Orientation

Students who have been admitted to K-State by exception, should complete an online orientation to prepare for the upcoming school year.
